These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.wildlandlegal.com, including all subdomains, content, and features made available on it (the "Site"). The Site is owned and operated by Wildland Legal, P.C., a California professional law corporation (#32331) ("Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). Jonathan Franz (State Bar of California Member #273889) is the attorney responsible for the content of the Site.
By accessing or using the Site, you ("you," "your," or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms apply only to your general use of the Site. If you become a client of the Firm, our relationship, including fees, scope of services, and the handling of your confidential information, is governed exclusively by your signed engagement letter with the Firm and by my professional obligations as an attorneys. Our Privacy Policy (incorporated into these Terms by reference) describes how we handle personal information collected through the Site.
1. Eligibility
The Site is intended for adults. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
2. Attorney Advertising
The Site may be considered attorney advertising under the California Rules of Professional Conduct and the California Business and Professions Code.
3. No Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship
The Site provides general information about the Firm and its services. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and you should not act or refrain from acting based on any Site content without first obtaining advice from a qualified attorney about your specific situation.
Your use of the Site, your submission of a contact form, your scheduling of a call, or your sending of an e-mail or other message to the Firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship with the Firm is formed only when (a) we have completed a conflict-of-interest check and (b) you and the Firm have both signed a written engagement letter.
4. Do Not Send Confidential Information
Please do not send us confidential, proprietary, or time-sensitive information through the Site, by e-mail, or otherwise until we have confirmed in writing that we can represent you. Until then, we may be unable to treat unsolicited information as confidential, and receiving it may not prevent us from representing another party in the same or a related matter. If you share information with us in the course of a consultation about possible representation, we will handle it consistent with our professional obligations to prospective clients.
Communications sent to us before an engagement may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Do not rely on any communication with the Firm to preserve a deadline, including any statute of limitations or contractual deadline.
5. Jurisdiction and Licensing
Jonathan Franz is licensed to practice law in the State of California. The Firm does not seek to represent anyone based solely on their visit to the Site in a jurisdiction where the Site fails to comply with applicable laws and ethical rules governing attorney advertising. Where a matter involves the laws of another jurisdiction, we may associate with local counsel or advise you to do so.
6. Prior Results; Professional Background
Descriptions of past experience, results, transactions, roles, recognition, or metrics on the Site (including references to prior in-house positions) do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Every matter is different, and outcomes depend on the facts and law specific to each engagement.
References to former employers or other third-party companies are provided only to describe the attorney's professional background. They do not imply that any such company endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with the Firm, and all third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, photographs, the "Wildland Legal" name, the mountain-and-forest badge logo, and other marks, and the selection and arrangement of that content (collectively, the "Content"), is owned by the Firm or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial informational use. You may not, without our prior written consent:
Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from any Content;

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or embedded third-party tools (for example, scheduling, e-mail, or analytics services). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party site or service. A link does not mean we endorse that site. Your use of any third-party site or service is subject to that third party's own terms and privacy policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR CURRENTNESS, OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
